We are delighted to be featuring ANS Member Emily Chilvers this month. Emily has been an ANS Member since October 2020, and has worked with us twice on our National Lottery Community Funded programme Creative Connections. Emily is a confident practitioner – able to put people at ease with their work.
Hi Emily, tell us a little bit about yourself and your work.
I’m a potter and basketweaver producing a small range of work from my home studio as well as facilitating a variety of classes for all ages and abilities that focus on the important of creative wellbeing within the community.
What projects are you working on at the moment?
The festive season is upon us so lots of Christmas workshops will be popping up. I’ve also been working with a new group in Pimlico who are all new to pottery so that’s been really nice to develop their interests in a new material.
Emily will be hosting a clay Christmas tree light workshop at Heals in Kingston on Thursday 8 December. Find out more and book your space here.
