We invite you to join us at The Sound Lounge from 7pm on Tuesday 19th November 2024 for our AGM and a celebration of ten years of work in the wonderful arts and cultural scene across our borough. This is our 10th year operating as Arts Network Sutton, a key moment in time for our Network – both to reflect on some of the amazing work our Members have achieved, and to talk and share ideas about how we look to the future.
Importantly, the nature of how we will be funded is changing. The council has recently confirmed that funding from them is being reduced this year and will cease thereafter. This represents a big change in how we operate, however we have financial reserves to ensure the 2025 grants programme will go ahead, and we have successfully attracted grant investment from other sources in the past. We will need to do more of this fund raising in future, while also looking for support with our modest but necessary core costs. When we meet, we are keen to hear from you with ideas and suggestions about how we navigate this change.
As in previous years – this gathering is open to our Members and everyone with an interest in the local arts scene. Please book in advance here, so we can ensure we cater for everyone.
