Ho ho ho! At this online family workshop, you’re invited to make the ultimate silly stocking filler: a mini comic-style joke book, easy to photocopy for friends and family. Adults are welcome to assist and participate alongside their children.
This session includes:

a drawing tutorial by artist and children’s bookseller Mark Pembrey, drawing festive favourite characters together step-by-step
-
folding and cutting a simple book template from a single sheet of paper

guidance on illustrating your chosen jokes

an optional show-and-tell at the end of the session
You will need:

an internet connection

A4 paper
-
pencils
-
(ideally but not essentially) a home printer
Upon registration, a link to the Google Classroom will be sent along with printable resources, a list of suggested jokes to choose from and a quick guide to Google Classroom in case you haven’t used it before.
This event is ‘pay what you want’. Please feel free to pay whatever makes this affordable and worthwhile for your family. This Christmas we will donate at least 10% from total sales to Create, an arts charity empowering lives, reducing isolation and enhancing wellbeing through the creative arts.
